Yesterday while sitting in the waiting room at my doctor's office, I picked up a recent issue of Time magazine. I flipped through it and came across an intriguing article on Albert Einstein and his ideas about God and religion. He didn't believe so much in a personal God but he did think that there was some sort of intelligent force behind creation. Heavy stuff. I probably spend more time than the average person thinking about the origins of the universe and pondering the question " Why on Earth are we here???"I always seem to come up with way more questions than answers.
Having finished that article I moved on to one about the current season of the phenomenally successful American Idol show. What a strange change of pace. Although I love gazing at the stars in the night time sky and wondering what the meaning of life is, I still am not above watching American Idol just for the simple pleasure of a good old talent show.
