Happy Star Wars Day! May the Fourth ( Force) Be with You!
There is so much in the papers these days about the 30th anniversary of the original Star Wars movie. It was 1977 and I had just graduated from high school. It really does feel like a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Today is also my birthday! It is a bittersweet day for me, because one year ago today, I said good-bye to my dying father. I said 'I Love You', and with his eyes closed, he held my hand and whispered 'I Love You'. Dad died the next day with my Mum and one of my sisters at his bedside. I sure miss him.
He was a such a generous and loving father.
