The Work of Art Conference

On the weekend I attended an all day conference devoted to the business side of being a visual artist. They were many great speakers Chris Tyrell in particular, who's written an invaluable book on the topic Check it out. As artists we often don't pay enough attention to this part of the equation. We hear the term Show Business, or the Music Business, but not often do the words " Art Business" pop up. It's not selling out to want and strive to be successful ! Success gives you the freedom to have choices. And isn't that what we all want?
