Oregon Coast Getaway

Last week my husband and I spent a few nights on the beautiful Oregon Coast. We had a lovely room right on the beach where the waves rolled in like thunder. It was spectacular. This shot is of a funky sculpture in Newport, where we enjoyed the most delicious clam chowder I have ever had at Quimby's cafe. I wish I had the recipe! We were treated to a tour of an old lighthouse at Yaquina . It was really windy but the ocean is so awesome and powerful we didn't mind being blown around a bit.
On the way home we spent a day in Cannon Beach where we browsed through the galleries and shops. I'll post a few more pictures later.
